Day 28

This is Brooke. Brooke has lived in Chiang Mai for 3 years, and is also leaving this summer. I have grown to love her over the past two since we are in the same bible study. We went out to coffee yesterday and caught up on life, then we met the other girls for dinner at this restaurant that overlooks the city. Beautiful. This week Brooke's mom went in for surgery, she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. They then found out that it was worse then what they thought, that it is in her lymph nodes and they missed removing the tumor by 0.01 of a millimeter. Which means she has to go in for more surgery, chemo and radiation... please pray for Brooke and her mom, sometimes we wonder what in the world God is thinking.
