Mosquito bites!

Well, after looking up how to spell mosquito, I realized that it is a very funny word -- and sounds like nothing when you say it over and over again. Anyway, I thought I would let you in on some of the not-so-awesome things about Thailand. Mosquitoes. I thought that I would take a picture for proof, and I did count how many I have below my knees -- 30, yes 30 bites below my knees. It looks like I have chicken pox for crying out loud, and I have no chance of winning the prettiest legs contest. In our teacher meetings the nurse told us to watch out for mosquitoes because they carry this disease called "Dangy fever" which could possibly kill you. And looking at my legs I really don't know how you could possibly "watch out" for mosquitoes... I mean I got these and I thought I was being cautious. So the moral of my story is: If you have good smelling wonderful bug spray that you would like to send to me -- please do. Also pray that all of the Mosquitoes in Thailand would die, or just not eat me.

Sara... as I was scanning through "recently updated profiles" on facebook, your's came along. Then I found your blog site, and began reading. It is so fun to read about your adventures in Tailand. It is a blessing for me to be here and hear about your experiences. I am so glad we have coffee that one night in Martinsville, and seeing your desire to go. Thank you for following God's call on your life. I pray that this finds you safe, joyful, and generally have the time of your life!

love,
Katie
