Even though I don't feel like I have something monumental to write about, I felt like I needed to write something because today marks the day of one month in Thailand. In some ways it has flown by, and in others it feels like I have been here forever. God keeps on providing and opening my eyes to how he wants to use me here. I never dreamed that being a teacher gave you such a platform to share Christ with the kids in my classroom. Every morning I pray with my kids and ask if they have prayer requests and it is so neat to hear what they want prayer about. It is also a blessing to hear what the non-christian kids ask for prayer about, which I feel also gives the christian kids an opportunity to know how to best love their classmates. So every day when they leave I make them give me an "H" a high five, handshake or hug. It's so fun to watch the little boys put their arms out and want to give me a hug, when I was expecting a high five. I really couldn't imagine doing anything else everyday -- I don't think there could be a more perfect job... well at least not yet!

The Lord really does have my hand in his...
Well, I need to go, Catherine is picking me up in a tuk-tuk and we are going to go have breakfast at Smoothie Blues, and then get pedicures. I am so thankful for Saturdays!
(The picture is from today -- it is a little chocolate shop on my street, if you order a coffee drink you get two free chocolates...mmm)
