Some days I am just so blessed by my students, today it was a 10 year-old’s response to a journal entry that brought tears to my eyes. I was just amazed at her perspective on the Lord’s goodness and his blessings. I asked them to write about why their family was special to them…
“My family is special because they really have a kind heart for poor people. They give me whatever I need and treat me well… I really thank God for my family, they are so special… I feel so blessed even though I am not that rich, but I am rich with God! My family are the best for me, that’s why I’m going to take care of them.”
She is rich, so very rich and wise for a ten year old. Amen for children who walk with Jesus from a young age.
