So, I have come to enjoy the weekly moments that I get to read my kids journal entries. This may become a weekly entry on my blog. This was the best one today...
The topic was: If you could have a party, what kind of party would you have, who would you invite and what would you eat. Most kids described the perfect birthday party... this kid had other ideas.
"I want to have no party but I want to have a lot of present and the present must be only games like being a member in a computer game or getting xbox or xbox 360 or wii or psp or ps2 or ps3 or a new computer or macbook or laptop. Something that is a game. But I want ipod too or a camera or a pupie or a kitten. Maybe too have something cool. Or going out with my family to have dinner. I want guppies too, but maybe a pig. I can get a free pig too from my uncle because he owns a pig farm. I might want a sheep or a cow or chick or duck or goose. Any kind of farm animals. I also want a cute little fox or wolf or a cute animal." (with a stick person drawing below with a speech bubble saying, "I don't want a party.")
Yes, I found this funny enough to type to you. I found it hilarious that it went from technology to wanting a pig. Oh the moments of my work day... they bring joy to my life.
In the picture it is the little guy on the right that wrote this in his journal -- I love him!
