Patience.

Funny how waiting lets you see the Lord work. Hard to do, but so worth to wait, and wait and wait -- and then be in awe of what he knew all along.

Shortly after I wrote my last post, Raef and I just started to pray more. We realized that it would be so much more healthy for me to have something to do, I needed to be needed. Also that day I sent out my resume to lots of random places on Craig's list. Anything that had to do with education.

It started with a friend loaning me her babysitting job, and when I came home a few days later there was an e-mail from a place called Kids on the Grow, wondering if I could come in for an interview. Just so happens there was a place that needed my gifts.

Get this: They work with 18 month olds to five year olds using art, literacy and music to develop their skills. Um, seriously? A job where I get to do my FAVORITE part of teaching. No grading, no parent teacher conferences, no tests? Just educational play and art?

I Had to wait 3 weeks from interview to today, but today they asked if I would want to be a part of their team. They want to learn from... ME. Really? I get to be stretched to develop curriculum, be the only official teacher on staff with therapists? Be stretched and grown though the things I love to do most? I feel so blessed. Wait, did I tell you the girl who I would work with loves Jesus? Yea, that's right.

It starts in a few weeks, part-time hopefully transitioning to full time -- I guess I am supposed to be here in Chicago. New challenges, new goals, a new place to be needed and spent. Thank you for praying and reading, I have so much to be thankful for...

:) The Lord knew the right timing. If he would have answered any sooner, you wouldn't have recognized the answer from him right?
