My junior year of college I realized that I could physically run a half marathon. My legs could pull me 13.1 miles, I would just have to train, I would have to work for it. Last weekend I finally met my goal! Two years ago I did my first race, a 5K in Thailand. At the time, it was my greatest athletic feat at 3.5 miles. However, on Saturday when 3.5 miles came around I knew I still had 10 to go! Anna and Abe came and cheered me on, which was so sweet for them to come to my first real sporting event. I ran the first 6 miles with my roommate Jana, and then she stopped to use the bathroom and I did the rest on my own. The weather was cool, so it made it perfect running weather. I completed my new years resolution of running an entire half marathon! Now just on to meet my other goal of my 25th year -- to get married. Oh, I am somewhere in the middle of the 35,000 people who ran the race on Saturday. It's the largest Mini-Marathon in the US! And I finished in 15,460th place!
