We have fun friends. There is no way around it. The Lord has blessed us with an abundance of people in our lives who not only do cool things like live in fun countries, do crazy stupid adventurous things, make us laugh until the back of my head hurts, are contenders on singing tv shows -- but also love Jesus -- it's pretty neat.

A few weeks ago we found ourselves peer pressured into buying plane tickets to Denver to go skiing with some old friends and new ones. It's not the first time the
Prinsens have caused me to go outside my comfort zone, or the first time I'd been
peer pressured to doing something I'd never choose to do on my own. Skiing was the adventure here -- and what better way to learn than to have your friends drop you off above the tree line in Colorado -- on a run that says this is not advised for first time skiers. At least they didn't take me down the run that looked like a Plinko board.

To be honest... was a good. No. Did I make it down the green runs without falling by the 2nd day? Yes. Was I scared out of my mind? Of course. Was it a fun weekend with super fun friends that made me laugh and stretch me out of my comfort zone? Definitely. It was also good to see Hannah P of course, and realizing that we seem to always hang out in random places: London, Chiang Mai, Colorado... So glad we went!
